Javier Garcia-for my nephew, Joe Covarrubias, who is serving in the US Army.  He will be in Iraq for 15 months.

Linda Grant-Help me only seek God's approval, not man's, especially when no one is looking. God is the only approval you need.

Connie Gustavson-Please pray for my grandson Alex Perez, as he goes out to sea for 8 months. Keep him safe. Thank you.

Gaby Jauregui-I pray that I can be relieved of my money problems for prom, New Orleans & college.

Wendy Lesley-My longtime friend Shalone, has to have major house repairs. She is very stressed while her husband is in Iraq & she is home with her 4 boys.

Sally Brightcloud-I pray for the Hayward family during this challenging time. May the church family wrap our arms around them.

Luz Marquez-My friend Lupe passed away. Please pray for her family.

Daniel Mattox-Please pray for Wayne Holland. He fell & hurt himself & needs our prayers.

Peggy McDermott-Pray that Makayla would continue to recover from virus & that Mara will not get it.

Joyce Tucker-Safe travel for my father, brother & sister-in-law as they return from Virginia. Improved health for my dad. He is very depressed over the loss of my mom, his wife of 62 years.

Linda Tucker-Jesus, please comfort Tommy, Jesus, Savior, Son of the Living God, Comforter & Creator. You are merciful & longsuffering. You are faithful & true. Be with this family Lord, as you prepare her for heaven. Fill this time with your peace, her absence on earth will be difficult for her family.

Carl & Beverley Ziesmer-Our son Mark, who speaks the language of the Fulanis of Burkina Faso, will spend June teaching Bible & leading VBS there.

Pray for Janet Hayward as her dear husband, Bill, passed away on May 4.  The memorial service will be on Monday, May 12 at 11:00 a.m. in our Worship Center with lunch reception following.  In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Christ First Baptist Camp Scholarship Fund.

Dave Miller-Carol's sister Nancy, is doing well at home. She has 12 hour care now. She falls easily, but otherwise is becoming independent, seven months post stroke.

I praise God for Benjamin Garcia's word each week in the prayer connection. It always speaks to me. Thank you, Lord, for Barbara & Mary & their beautiful music.
